GRAND PRIX OF DENVER TO FEATURE RED BULL ACTION SPORTS
The Grand Prix of Denver sponsored by Bridgestone today announced its action sports line up for race weekend. As an event sponsor, Red Bull will feature its TNT Freestyle Motocross team as part of the Life In The Fast Lane weekend experience, happening Friday, August 11 through Sunday, August 13. For the first time at the Grand Prix of Denver the Red Bull TNT Freestyle Motocross will perform for free multiple times throughout the weekend. Twisting, high-flying motorcycles will be raining from the sky when the TNT Freestyle Motocross show goes trackside. In the 80-foot gap between two Red Bull freestyle ramps, top freestyle motocross (FMX) riders Tommy “Tom Cat” Clowers and Jeff “Full Tilt” Tilton will perform the mind-boggling, in-the-air tricks that have made FMX the most air raising entertainment going.
“Like the Champ Car drivers, Red Bull’s TNT team embody the philosophy to be an elite athlete. We are thrilled to have Red Bull as an official sponsor and to give our spectators a great show,” said Grand Prix of Denver General Manager Rob Johnson.
Specially priced ticket packages are available for racing and rock n’ roll on the Grand Prix website. Tickets can also be purchased by calling toll free 877-772-5425 or at trackside ticket offices during race weekend. The Grand Prix of Denver merges into the fast lane in 2006 by hosting a weekend-long, city-transforming experience, teeming with racecars, motorcycles, action sports, rock-n-roll and street parties. This fifth annual three-day event continues to be the largest gathering of car enthusiasts, sports fans and music lovers in Denver. The Grand Prix of Denver race, round 10 of the Champ Car World Series, is the marquee event of the weekend.
